MY TEACHING INTERNSHIP PRAYER

Prayer

Dear God, we exalt Your name and sing praise to it. We thank You for Your sovereignty and fidelity throughout our lives, for bringing us to this point, and for Your abundant and unconditional love towards us.

Thank You for providing me with this opportunity to teach and educate young minds and make a difference in the tremendous and amazing lives of the students. Thank You for constantly reminding me of why I chose this profession. When I am in a situation I cannot control, I ask God for patience so that I do not hurt anyone, especially my students, who have a special place in my heart.

I apologize for not recognizing You during your triumphant moments. I sincerely apologize for any mistakes I have made, whether intentional or unintentional. I also apologize for constantly knocking on Your benevolent heart during my downfalls. I recognize these flaws and pray that You, Lord, have forgiven me for them.

Allow me to spread light and optimism to my students in the hopes of making a positive difference in their lives. Make me an example for my students to follow by keeping my passion for learning alive; igniting my enthusiasm for the profession; and leading me down a path of new experiences, new ideas, and new values and lessons to discover.

I humbly request You, Lord, to give me a down-to-earth heart to embrace and learn from my mistakes. I know I'm far from perfect, but I trust in You. I know You're always there to turn challenges into opportunities. In the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!
