In the origin part of the Danube Swabians I aim during the field stay in Germany to visit the Danube Swabian Museum in Ulm, with the place of departure of the migrants, the Peasant Museum in Bad Schussenried containing also rural housing from the time when the Swabians were still in Germany and the Oberschwäbische Barockstraße (the baroque cultural route of the Swabians in the region). Some of the landmarks are the church in Weingarten, Ravensburg and the library of the monastery also in Bad Schussenried, but also the castle in Sigmaringen of the Romanian royal family. Thus the landmarks of the route in Germany are also religious architecture.
A further goal is archive research in Carei.
In Bucharest there is a German community, with which contact will be held, also to present the results.
