THIS WEBSITE WILL BE REPLACED FOR THE UPCOMING YEAR
updated 11/13/23
District IV club meetings are not all fun and games. Some very important information gets generated and documented. This page contains outputs from some of our productive meetings.
Over 120 attendees were treated to some excellent presentations and an abundance of special sales offerings from our garden clubs. You can review the registration form for an overview of the agenda. A slideshow is at our Photo Gallery page.
The presentations are below. Additional materials will be made available here as they are received.
Florida Springs-Friendly Yards. Haley Moody, The Florida Springs Institute.
City of Jacksonville Preservation Parks, Dr. Jenny Hinton, Preserve and Waterfront Manager, City of Jacksonville
Lastly, remember that all the above UF/IFAS Extension Centers have Master Gardeners who enjoy making presentations about topics that are educational and interesting. If you have an opening in your program schedule, contact your local agent and ask if they have someone available.
The Disrict IV Fall Meeting was informative and fun. This year our FFGC Officers have a huge mission - to celebrate our Federation's Centennial by honoring the mission that has guided it since the Federation was founded in 1924. Our officers had a novel way of presenting the information: using a song-and-dance. Perhaps you had to be there... But if you weren't you can review the FFGC Fall Tour Presentation.

The purpose of this workshop was to provide an orientation for new club/circle officers and members. We will be reviewing how the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs interfaces with the National Garden Club and the Deep South Region. You will also have an opportunity to meet our District committee chairpersons and become better acquainted with their roles and responsibilities.
