Mission: To further the education of members and the public in the fields of horticulture and landscape design; to support sustainable conservation practices; and to promote an interest in floral design art, nature studies and civic beautification.

Their first civic beautification project is to place a floral design in the Fernandina Beach Library lobby on an ongoing basis to educate patrons and introduce the general public to the club.

Interesting Tidbit: The club is named “The Bartram Garden Club” because in 1774 William Bartram first set foot in Florida at Amelia Island.

Club Name: Bartram Garden Club of Amelia Island - 27 members

The newest garden club in District IV is the Bartram Garden Club of Amelia Island. The club has 27 members and counting, including one Master and two Accredited Flower Show Judges. It is the only FFGC garden club to serve the Amelia Island/Yulee area, so that number will certainly grow.
