FFGC Relief Effort for Hurricane Harvey

District IV Director, Jan Litchfield, would like the member in our District clubs to give their donations in September to their OWN garden club treasurer so that the treasurer can ensure the FFGC treasurer, Gina Jogan, receives the money by the end of the month.
On behalf of the Deep South Garden Clubs, Inc., Claudia Bates, president of the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs (FFGC), asks that all FFGC members consider donating money in September to the effort to restore damaged and destroyed trees in the areas of Texas and Louisiana devastated by Hurricane Harvey.
Even a donation of 25-cents can add up to thousands of dollars if everyone contributes. Monies will be distributed through 501(c)3 charitable organizations in October.
