Internship Manual for Engineering Management

The Engineering Management Internship Program (Kerja Praktik) at Institut Teknologi Del is a mandatory practicum bridging classroom theory and industrial practice, placing engineering management students at major companies across Java and Sumatra including PT Pertamina, PT Astra Otoparts, Garuda Indonesia's GMF AeroAsia, and PT Petrokimia Gresik. As Program Coordinator and Principal Lecturer for seven years, I built and ran its three phase structure: a year long preparation phase with a dedicated handbook and CV workshops, a two month industry placement using tools like Statistical Process Control and Value Stream Mapping, and a final technical report with seminar evaluation. I steered the program through the COVID 19 pandemic and expanded it to cover the EM IT Program with results including 93% of the 2017 cohort earning an A grade.
