Entrepreneurship Course

The Technopreneurship course (TIS3001) at Institut Teknologi Del is a core academic subject designed to prepare students to create, test, and scale technology driven business ventures. Rather than relying on traditional, theory heavy lectures and lengthy business plans, the course operates as a practical startup simulation centered on Lean Startup methodologies, rapid customer discovery, and Business Model Canvas (BMC) frameworks. Students work in collaborative teams to build functional product ideas, leveraging design tools like Figma and Canva to create prototypes while applying modern startup metrics such as the AARRR (Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Revenue, Referral) funnel to validate market hypotheses through Build Measure Learn iteration cycles. To ensure practical relevance across campus, project tracks are tailored to specific academic disciplines, aligning mobile and web development initiatives for software students with specialized technical innovations across other engineering departments.
