Learn how to program robots in a variety of challenges. Who will amass the most points to become the LEGO Mindstorms Champions?
In this project, YOU are the target audience! Build a robot that you will be proud of using the skills learned in the robotics section of this website. Compete against your classmates to gain the most points in the LEGO Challenges. Click on the icons in each section to complete the tasks outlined below.
Research what skills you will need to complete your mission. Here are some examples of questions you might want to consider in your inquiry and how they can be prioritized and categorized into primary and secondary research.
When learning how to program LEGO Mindstorm robots, you will need to learn a coding language called ROBOT C. To do this, sign up to CS2N.org using the Skill button. After completing most of the 10, 20 & 30 point challenges, take the coding quiz!
Research different builds of LEGO robots that have been successful in LEGO sumo bot challenges and analyze their strengths and weaknesses.
Now that you have completed your research, let's make sure you are on the right track to create a successful product or solution.
