Ruffle creates excess skin on the neck and/or wings, creating fabric-like folds and drapes.
You may choose to only show Ruffle on the neck or wings, instead of both!
Ruffle may appear randomly in breeding, or may be passed down from a parent which has it. You may freely draw custom lines for it, and please check the bottom of the page for pointers and ranges!
The base layer of Ruffle should match the chosen base color of your dergon, or markings which overlap the area it starts at. Ruffle on the wings should match Wingsails if present, or any markings.
Markings can extend onto Ruffle, especially where they overlap. The shapes of Ruffle may allow markings to look more complex than usual!
When drawing your own Ruffle, look to hanging fabric for shape inspiration. The dewlap on ruffle should hang fairly loose. It can also resemble an iguana or bearded dragon's neck adornment.
Ruffle can affect any wing or fin membrane present on the dergon, including Crested, Finned, and Frilled.
At minimum, Ruffle should create a small dewlap in the throat, or affect one section (space between fingers) of one wing. Ruffle can create dramatic folds or cutouts withing the Maximum range, with lineart edits in the Extended range. The range outside the lines shows the maximum area Ruffle can occupy.
