Additional fins appear around the dergon's head and neck, in addition to the original face or neck fins.
Crested may appear randomly in breeding, or may be passed down from a parent which has it. You may freely draw custom lines for it, and please check the bottom of the page for pointers and ranges!

The base layer of Crested should match the chosen base color of your dergon, or markings which overlap the area it starts at. The Extra layer may match your wingsails color, or be turned off.
Markings can appear on Crested, especially where they overlap. Face sails, Wingsails, Flagged, and Flight may treat Crested as additional ranges.

When drawing your own Crested, you may mimic existing fins, or base the fins off other shapes such as bettas or lionfish. You may also use any Finned lines that exist within the range!
If Crested is present with Avian, you may use feathers instead of fins for custom lines, and they may use Avian's color rules.
Range
Range
Crested may create up to six individual fins within the Maximum range. When combined with Finned, up to two more may be added in the Extended range. The range outside of the lines indicates the maximum size of Crested's fins, that being about the width of the neck to either side. At minimum, Crested can create an extension of the head fins by 2 struts.
