Tortoiseshell creates a mottled mix of the dergon’s base color, and a black color, resembling a rougher Calico. 

Where markings overlap the Tortoiseshell base, they should become a darker color, mainly off the Black or Off-Black slider, although white markings may pull from the darkest Stone colors.
