Lilac causes the dergon to take a soft pink, purple, or white color, optionally becoming faintly transparent on the dergon’s underside.
A pink or flesh colored gradient may be present on the underside above all other markings, centered on neck and groin where the skin is thinnest.
Eyes must be a shade of red, purple, or near-black.
When present with a Strange Covering mutation, Lilac’s gradient may faintly show bones and organs as the skin becomes transparent.
When paired with Feathered or Avian, the feathers may preserve the design, while most of the skin takes a pink or fleshy tone, with markings fading out or disappearing. If a marking (such as Flagged) only affects parts like the wings which are outside the range of the feathers, the marking must still be visible, although it may be faint!
When paired with a variation or body type that adds fins, Lilac may cause these extra fins to be somewhat transparent, showing the design or base through their main membrane; although they should not be fully clear, and the struts or bones in between should maintain opaque color. The main wings cannot be affected by this without a Strange Covering mutation.
