Appaloosa creates a textured or gradient white blanket marking which covers most of the dergon. Most of the blanket should be solid with holes erased out, but the edges can fade out into different textures. Within it are spots or holes, which can show either the design below the blanket or a differently colored spot. Spots made this way should be darker than the chosen base! Both holes and spots can have a bordered edge.

Appaloosa must appear noticeably on the hip at minimum. It may use the Maximum range in Het. form, or the Extended range in Hom. or Super form.
Appaloosa may fuse with and fade into Snowcap and/or Sunbleach. The three together may form a large, textured roan/appaloosa effect with varying density and a large amount of holes.
When present with Spotting, Spotting may add an additional color of spots which does not follow the darker than base rule.
