Stripes creates tiger- or zebra-like stripes originating from the dergon’s back. They can be somewhat complex, and can branch and merge. Stripes should stay mainly vertical, although they can move horizontally especially along the face and leg. Stripes usually originate from either the spine or belly, but can appear disconnected and in the middle of the body.
Layering Rules
Can freely layer under & over markings, except White, Black, and Dilution genes
Hard, Textured, Minimally Soft
Fade out
Stripes should cover at least 10%, or enough to be noticeable, and can cover up to 50% of the dergon in Het. form, or up to 80% in Hom. or Super.
Barring can cause Stripes to break apart at the end, creating a dispersed effect.
Stripes may merge with Tabby, appear more angled/horizontal than usual, and causing a second ‘layered’ color within both markings.
