Runes or loose symbols appear on the dergon’s body, with an optional ‘shadow’ or gradient underneath them and an optional glow effect in the same color(s) as the marking. The runes themselves can be thicker, like separated maze-like markings, or thinner, like letters. Runic should NOT be made of any real world script, although a loose resemblance is allowed. Real world non-alphabet symbols should be kept to a minimum.
Layering Rules
Can freely layer under & over markings, INCLUDING White, Black, and Dilution genes
Can use any color on the Arcane slider, and in Hom form may use up to two colors in a gradient. In Super form, may use any colors. The 'shadow' may be any natural or base color slider.
Hard, Textured
'Shadow' underneath may have a soft to gradient edge.
Disperse out, Fade out, Small spots, Marking breaks
Runic may use the Maximum range in Het. form, or the Extended range in Hom. or Super form.
Runic can also affect a different marking, creating a ‘fill’ of loose symbols over the marking’s range.
