Eyespot creates multicolored ‘eye spot’ markings, which usually appear on the wing, but which can show up anywhere on the body. These consist of round or oval spots with up to three rings of colors layered within one another, and which can have inner shapes like peacock feather eyes or tear drops. The inner colors do not have to be hard edged, and can cause a gradient instead of distinct rings. Not every Eyespot needs to have every chosen color.
