Countershade is a large, soft marking on the underside of the dergon. It is usually a lighter color than the base, but darker examples have been seen.
Layering Rules
Can freely layer under & over markings, except White, Black, and Dilution genes
Maximum Soft, Gradient, Cloudy, Diffuse
Marking breaks, Fading out, Multiple edge types
Multiple edge types and washout may use Minimally Soft edges, but these sections should be minimally present and used as a design nuance.
Must originate from the underside of the dergon
Countershade may use the Maximum range in Het. and Hom. form, or the Extended range in Super form.
