Instructions for presenters

All presenters are invited to include the DLBCN logo in their slides or posters., available here in a variety of formats and colours.

Talks

  • The duration of the regular (non-keynote) talks is 10 minutes, plus 5 minutes for questions.

  • Come to the front of your auditorium 20 minutes for the start of your session to check the set up with the session chair and technical staff.

  • Presenters must wear face masks, also during their talk.

  • The slides can be projected in three different ways (only one is needed, others may be useful as back ups):

    1. Join a GMeet call with your laptop/tablet/smartphone and share your slides from there. Your session chair will provided the URL for the GMeet call two days by Monday 20th December. (recommended)

    2. Share a link to your slides from this form. Formats supported: Google Slides, Microsoft Powerpoint or PDF.

    3. Bring your own laptop and connect to our beamer with an HDMI port.

Posters

  • The poster boards are of 93 cm width and 205 cm height, fitting A0 posters with vertical (portrait) orientation.

  • Set up your poster at least 15 minutes before the start of your poster session, and remove it before the end of the talks session afterwards.

  • Presenters must wear face masks, as well as all attendees while engaged in a discussion. If somebody is eating / drinking while speaking to you, please gently invite him/her to wear their masks or come later.
