Big news! As you may know, Deepti Designs is one of the few organizations that works in Indian traditional visual arts and is committed to making such an impact in its community. Recently, our work was recognized by WA Cultures, an organization that spotlights traditional arts in Washington state. Their team reached out to ask if they could make a documentary on our art school, Deepti Designs!
We are honored to have our work memorialized by WA Cultures for the archives of the state arts commission. Most of the footage for the documentary has been captured earlier in 2025, but the last stretch of recording will happen this week.
If you are interested in viewing this documentary, it will be available to the public for viewing in the future. Once again, congratulations, everyone! It is with your hard work that our school shines as a meaningful presence in our community.

We are excited to share a special opportunity this month! ArtsWA has invited Ms. Deepti Agrawal to give a presentation at the 60th Governor’s Arts & Heritage Awards celebration, as the only Indian-origin GAHA recipient and the only Master Artist of the Heritage Arts Apprenticeship Program!
We are looking for any volunteers who are interested in helping represent Deepti Designs during this event that brings art enthusiasts and artists from all around Washington state. If you are interested in joining the day’s events, please reach out to Ms. Deepi Agrawal for complimentary tickets!

We are excited to announce a very unique opportunity this month! We are able to partner with Kuchipudi Konnect for their Abhi Varna - Nila event, celebrating the beauty of the color blue. It will be held on February 1st, 2026 at 3 pm at the South Bellevue Community Center.
This collaboration offers a special chance for five Deepti Designs artists to be part of a dance ensemble, where visual art and classical dance come together. A few of these artists will also get the chance to speak at this event. This is an amazing platform to showcase creativity, artistry, and confidence. Although these artists have already been selected, if you are interested in attending, here is the flyer for the event!
