We are invited by the Seattle Aquarium to put up an interactive event for their AAPI Community Day. Ambassadors from the aquarium attended our Seattle Center annual event and A/NT gallery show and were impressed by what they saw! Students Shriya Shaji, Aadya Bommineni and Ritika Arumugham will be representing the studio and conducting a pop-up show, live art demonstration and a pop-up show. 

Please reach out to Ms. Nikita Thakalath if you are available from 11:30-4:30 pm on June 18th and would like to help. Volunteers are required to have at least attended five events in the past.

UPCOMING SOON! We have the NW Folklife Event right around the corner on May 24th, from 12–8 pm at the Seattle Center. We are short on volunteers and need your help to run the Madhubani booth!

If you’ve completed the sun project, you are eligible to volunteer with us. Volunteers will take a 2.5 to 3-hour shift, help lead art activities and interact with visitors at the booth. This is also an opportunity to gain PVSA hours!

We’ve been invited by Hindu Swayansevak Sangh to host an interactive art table at their upcoming Guru Vandana event, held in honor of Guru Purnima. This is a beautiful opportunity for us to celebrate and honor teachers through traditional art!

We are looking for youth artists to run a pop-up show and an interactive art table, where teachers and others will be guided to create a simple Madhubani-style painting that they can take home as a keepsake.
