Ms. Deepti Agrawal as the new WA State Arts Commissioner!

We are proud to celebrate Deepti Designs founder Deepti Agrawal on her recent appointment by Governor Bob Ferguson as a commissioner on the ArtsWA Board of Commissioners. Her contributions to the community have earned her distinguished honors in the past, such as the Washington Governor’s Arts & Heritage Award in 2022.
Ms. Agrawal is internationally recognized as an educator, heritage artist, and cultural leader based in Washington State. She has made traditional Indian art more accessible to communities through education, public art, and meaningful partnerships. She is a TEDx speaker, and she has served as the Grand Marshal of the City of Bothell’s 2025 Fourth of July Parade.
Ms. Agrawal has also collaborated with museums, corporations, educational institutions, and civic organizations to promote cultural literacy, artistic expression, and cross-cultural understanding. She continues to put effort into preserving India’s rich artistic heritage while finding new ways to share and reimagine it for contemporary audiences.
