Kathith has just launched a new exciting Pattachitra Curriculum Class batch! It is the 10th batch launched after 9 other successful batches! Pattachitra art is generally distinguished by its bold black outlines, natural colors and intricate patterns, traditionally depicting deities and characters from Hindu mythology and local stories.

The course will have 60 sessions, on Tuesday at 4:30 PM PT (6:30 PM ET), each 1.5 hours long. The sessions will be held online, taught by artist Ashish Das. Students will learn how to create pieces in this traditional art style through a structured curriculum. We can't wait to see what wonderful creations the students from this batch will create!

Kathith recently hosted their Origami Workshop on July 25th and 26, an online workshop designed to teach participants about the fundamentals of origami and how to create paper figures step-by-step. Taught by Shri. Praveen, this workshop was perfect for beginners of all ages, helping strengthen many skills, from spatial thinking to creativity, concentration, and patience.

On August 8th, Kahith hosted a free Kerala Mural Workshop, where they brought Kerala’s traditional mural art to life through a beautiful composition.

During the workshop, students learned to sketch the artwork step by step, exploring the traditional Kerala Mural art style through different techniques and intricate detailing. They also learned how to incorporate vibrant colors and patterns into their artwork, all while working alongside award-winning Kathith Guru, Binish K!

This session was open to everyone, including beginners and experienced artists, giving participants the opportunity to explore Kerala Mural Art in a fun and guided environment.
