Training@DBT- MIET

The department offers Summer and winter Training in multidisciplinary areas of biotechnology to both undergraduate, graduate and research students of science & engineering disciplines. The major thrust of the department includes Translational Biology, Stem Cell Research, Cancer Reserach, Nanobiotechnology, Nanotoxicology, Drosophila Biology, Plant biotechnology, Protein biophysics & Proteomics, Industrial biotechnology, Bioengineering & Bioinformatics, in addition to providing state of the art facilities in these core areas. The department also has in-house activities related to Nanoparticle synthesis and their in vitro and in vivo toxicological analysis, animal cell-culture facility for screening bioactive compounds with therapeutic applications and a plant tissue culture facility for mass multiplication.

The Department offers training to the external students throughout year.
