Dr. Pankaj Kumar Tyagi is working as Associate Professor in the Department of Biotechnology, of MIET. He obtained his doctoral degree in 2003 from Department of Biosciences M. D. University, Rohtak Haryana India. In addition he is completed PG Diploma in Nanobiotechnology witd First Division in 2009 from Department of Nanobiotechnology, Life Science Foundation of India Morigeri Karnataka, India. He has more tdan 16 years of experience in Research and 13 years in Teaching. He is associated witd MIET since 01 April, 2010 and served a lot of responsibilities academic as well as administrative. Presently he is looking hostels of MIET as the post of chief warden. He was worked as Assistant Professor Department of Biotechnology, N. C. College of Engineering, Israna Panipat Haryana, India for 2003 to 2010. His research work in Nanomaterials synthesis and evaluates their toxicity by using Drosophila A genetic research model. He has published more tdan 45 research papers in refereed International and national Journals and more tdan 15 research papers in various national and international conferences/seminars. He has supervised the more tdan 10 masters’ dissertation (M. Tech. and M. Phil.) and 3 doctoral thesis under process. He is approved Ph.D. research guide of AKTU, Lucknow. His area of expertise is Nanobiotechnology, Genetics and Molecular Biology. He is also fetched the grants from different funding agency to organized workshop and conferences in the field of nanobiotechnology.
