Our lab focuses on understanding the molecular cellular mechanisms underlying adult stem cells also known as Tissue specific (multipotent) Stem cell self-renewal and differentiation. Adult Stem cells are playing crucial role to generate cancer stem cell, Adult Stem cells are cells which can sustain the cancer. Modern Cancer research reported that Cancer Stem cells are radiation resistance and responsible for relapsing as well as metastasis of cancer.
Our focus supports stem cell-based approaches to study and treat illnesses ranging from osteoarthritis to Alzheimer’s disease to Cancer.

We introduced stemformatics first time in India (Indian Science Congress, Mysore, 3rd Jan to 7th Jan, 2016) to develop more effective treatment for cancer by designing cancer stem cell targeted drug.
