Summer Training 2018

Objective of the project or dissertation work is to inculcate the good laboratory practices, real hands-on expertise and industrial exposure among students. This work includes a thorough understanding of research topic, meticulous experimental designing, and developing keen observation skills along with analytical power to understand and interpret the results / findings of their hard work. We also support students in writing project report and help them in making presentation so that their work can be recognized in tune with their hard work.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who have completed/pursuing their B.Sc., B.Tech., M.Sc., M.Tech., M.Phil. and Ph.D. in any field of Biotechnology/Life Sciences and Medical Biotechnology stream from a recognized University are eligible to apply. Selection will be purely on “First Come, First Serve Basis”. There will be a maximum of 10-12 students in each batch.

Application Procedure

Fill the online Application Form as per the instructions given below.
Send duly filled application form along with relevant documents and Payment in the form of DD made in the favor of “MIET BIOTECHNOLOGY SOCIETY” payable at Meerut to Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology, Meerut through courier/ registered speed post only.
We will contact you after receiving your application package and will confirm/book/register your seat for batch and program of your choice.
You can also transfer registration fee through NEFT in the following account and send us a copy of receipt of transfer (with UTR No.) along with scanned copy of application form through mail at dbt.miet@gmail.com

Alternatively, you can collect training application form from our office, fill it and submit it along with requisite amount in cash directly to the office.

Important Instructions

Selection of candidates will be purely on the basis of ‘First come, First Serve’ basis. Numbers of seats in a batch for all the programs are to be deciced by the concern training incharge
The admission to training program will be confirmed only after the payment of registration fee along with application is received. The registration and training fee is non-refundable but can be adjusted against any other program of your choice.
Accomodation will be provided on request in separate boys/girls hostel at MIET, Meerut subject to availability of the seats on payment basis. Trainee can make a request for accomodation to respective faculty supervisor.
The trainees will have to bring their own lab. coat and wear them in the laboratory.
Trainees are required to maintain the adequate discipline and minimum of 90% attendance during training session to get the certificate.
Trainees are required to maintain discipline during lab as well as class session. If a student is found misbehaving with anyone or doing any kind of illegal activity, then institute will not provide training certificate to student.
Printed study material will be provided to every student.
