Assessment Committee

I joined the Assessment Committee in the Spring of 2021. This was a great opportunity for me to learn how IVCC assess student learning. During my first semester with the committee, one of our goals was to get more faculty to assess their students using one or more of the four rubrics created by the Assessment Committee. Serving on the committee has given me a better understanding of student assessment. It has also lead me to create assessments for my classes that are designed to test certain institutional outcomes, or ILO's.
