One of my favorite projects we have worked on came about when Dylan Zupec was curious about Hyperbolic functions. This was a topic that I knew very little about. Over three club meetings, myself, Dylan, and another member, James Cheney, worked together to prove many facts about Hyperbolic functions. Some of the things we discussed in detail were how these functions are defined, how hyperbolic angles are defined, and their correlation to trigonometric functions. After we were finished, I compiled all of the information we proved into a six page paper that you can view below. It was great to learn along with the students and has broaden my knowledge of mathematics.
