From 2010 to 2012, I was enrolled in Architecture and Architectural Computer-Aided Drafting courses at San Antonio College. Monday through Friday, I would drive half-way across San Antonio to take half-day courses at the community college. Around lunch time, I would drive back to my high school to take the remainder of my dual credit and AP courses. The courses I took at San Antonio College taught me how to draft detached single family homes. My fellow classmates and I regularly drafted plans that ranged from general site plans to detailed construction drawings. All work was based-off of real-life projects that were completed by our professors. Through these courses, I became proficient in Autocad, Google Sketchup, Photoshop, and freehand drawing; during my last semester in the program, I was also exposed to Revit.
