Green Permit Regulations
The Green (Residence Hall) permit allows parking in any Green Residence Hall Parking Lot or Garage. Green Parking Lots and Garages are located on the core of the San Marcos Campus.
Green permits also allow parking in the Purple (Commuter) Lots.
During the week after 5pm and before 7am Green permit holders may park in any non-reserved space of any color.
On weekends Green permit holders may park in any non-reserved space of any color.

Gold Permit Regulations
Students living on campus in residence halls have the option to purchase a Gold (Mill Street) Permit. This permit is a "Park-and-Ride" style permit where vehicles are parked at the Mill St Parking Lot and the Bobcat Shuttle service is available to central campus.
On-campus residents may purchase one Residence Hall permit or one Mill Street permit.
During the week after 5pm and before 7am Gold permit holders may park in any non-reserved space of any color.
On weekends Gold permit holders may park in any non-reserved space of any color.
