Parking Services

Parking Services is the main hub at Texas State for parking. Using the Parking Portal you can view and purchase parking permits, see tickets associated with your license plate, and contest or pay parking tickets.

• Every vehicle must be registered online in advance of parking on campus.

• Permit sharing is not allowed.

• Plans to merge the Parking Services website with the UPD website have been confirmed, so this website may no longer be relevant after 04/02/2025.

All parking fines must be paid before you can:

• Register your vehicle with parking services and purchase a permit.

• Drop classes.

• Obtain transcripts.

• Obtain Diplomas.

• Obtain a retiree permit.

You can email, call, or visit Parking Services on the San Marcos campus from 8am-5pm M-F at the Matthew Street Parking Garage.
