Faculty/Staff Parking Permits

Red Restricted permit holders may park in any Red, Green, or Purple non-reserved space.

Parking permits are used on the Texas State campus to reduce the number of cars driving through central campus and to regulate traffic so that pedestrian areas are safe and usable.

The faculty/staff parking permits are intended to get faculty and staff closer to their buildings, but parking is not guaranteed at any given building. If faculty would like to be guaranteed a parking spot near a certain building they may buy a reserved permit, but this permit only allows parking in one spot.
