One-day virtual temporary permits are available in locations with a Pay-by-App signage and are listed on the Parking Services website. Vehicles may not utilize a Pay-by-App permit if outstanding fines are assigned to that vehicle.

Hourly virtual permits are available in the J.C. Kellam visitor lot. Vehicles may not utilize an Hourly Pay-by-App virtual permit if outstanding fines are assigned to that vehicle.
LBJ Student Center Garage & Edward Gary Street Garage:

There is always a fee to park in these garages. Texas State permits are not required in the LBJSC Garage or the “pay-per hour” sections of the Edward Gary Street Garage. Sponsors of events held near these garages should direct attendees to use the garage. There is no free parking in either of the pay garages except for events approved by the Vice President for Finance and Support Services. A list of approved events can be found at the Events page. Anyone interested in more information about the garages may visit the business office in the LBJ Student Center Garage Office or call (512) 245-7994.
