Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 341! Our Pack currently serves families with children in kindergarten through fifth grade (or about five to eleven years old) in Oak Forest, Tinley Park, Midlothian, Crestwood and the surrounding areas. Our Pack is chartered by the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection in Oak Forest, and is a member of the Calumet District (formerly Nishnabec District) of the Pathway to Adventure Council, Boy Scouts of America. We have been in existence since 1971. Pack 341 did not stop scouting during COVID-19! We had virtual meetings and scouting from home as needed, along with having some outdoor socially-distanced meetings! But, we are back with a full schedule for the upcoming scouting year!
There is a reason for everything scouts do in Cub Scouting. Apart from the fun and excitement, the aim of Cub Scouting is to help boys and girls grow into good citizens who are strong in character and personally fit. Everything we do has a purpose, but it is designed to be fun and engaging for our scouts, regardless of their ability to perform perfectly. Cub Scouting is a year-round, family orientated program. The Cub Scout motto is “Do Your Best” and that’s all anyone will ever ask them to do.
