Additional Information
There is a new email available to submit questions about insurance. Please send any inquries, comments, or concerns to
There is also a new website that should help make looking up information about insurance much easier. It can be found at
https://sites.google.com/sites/view/csryeinsurance
This site is still being built out, but will endeavor to have:
The most current rates for insurance
Forms needed for filing a claim
Examples of a filled out claim
Instructions on how to troubleshoot filing a claim
Suggestions of best practices
Tips for Outbound Orientation Insurance information
Tips for helping Inbounds navigate having to deal with insurance
A ticket submission process to help track problems that come up with insurance
I'd ask that if you are filing a claim on behalf of a student, that you cc: the csryeinsurance@gmail.com so that we can keep a CSRYE-wide record of the number and types of claims we get in a year
Also, please send suggestions on what you would like to see included on the website. I'd especially like to gather the information different districts used during their orientations so that I can 1) make sure I summarize correctly how one-fee districts present their insurance to families and students, and 2) create a file share for all districts to share.
I will be focused on content , and not aesthetics, so sorry for all the drab pages for now. Once we get closer to having the "stuff" we want, I'll turn to making things look spiffy.
At the previous board meeting, it was requested that we try and ask CISI what their closest plan to our current (ACI/RCMD) would be. Note, the most common offering on the market by CISI is their “Plan B”, which is certainly not as comprehensive as our current ACI plan However, even when asked to match the coverage (which they did by creating a new “Plan D”. That plan still left out covering a Suicide Exclusion, and would be still more expensive for our Inbounds (by about $185/inbound). The outbound price is slightly less ($51 less). The executive board recommended that we continue with our ACI coverage.
