About Me!

Name: My full name is Carley Erin Stapleton.

• If you're wondering (which you're probably not) where my middle name came from, here it is! My mom grew up with a younger sister named Erin with severe autism and epilepsy. She was always hard to connect with, but my mom had a very special connection with her. She ended up passing away about 2 years before I was born. This was tragic for our family. In honor of her, my mother chose "Erin" as my middle name!

Hobbies: I love to sing (check out my song cover page if you're interested); it's my main hobby! Some other hobbies that I have are sewing, baking, cooking, photography, writing, blogging (of course), and painting! 

Religion/Ancestry: My family is a part of the Baptist faith, which is a big part of my life. My ancestry consists of mostly Scottish and German!

• Fun story! You're probably wondering why I have such a random mix of ancestry... My grandfather on my mom's side was born in Germany and ended up getting adopted into the United States, where he married my grandmother, who was Scottish! This means that my grandfather was 100% German, making my mom 50%, and me being about 25%!

Achievements: Here are two random achievements of mine...

• I competed in the junior national championships during my career as a competitive trampolinist! (I got like 11th place overall! 😆)

• Two summers ago, I went on my first mission trip to San Antonio, Texas to work in the community there! This was truly such a humbling experience for me.
