Hi, I’m Sheila Baskin, the counselor at Académie Lafayette's Cherry Campus. I’m a proud mother of two and many more. I’m also a very proud grandmother of three.

I am the founder, Choreographer, and head adult Praise Dancer of God's Precious Angles and His Young Lions. God's Precious Angel’s and His Young Lions is a Dance Ministry that God has blessed me to oversee for over 20 years. God's Precious Angles and His Young Lions consists of youth, young adult, and adults. Our dance ministry is also a diverse group of boys and girls. This ministry is also involved in outside activities, such as movies, picnics, community service, and trips to the mall. At times, we also have Bible Studies and counseling sessions if needed. I was also blessed to become an Ordained Minister on September 28, 2019.

My work history: Transportation Provider for 25 years, second dispatch, and office clerk. Care for senior citizens: prepared meals, clean their homes, grocery shopping, take them to their doctors appointments , and assist with hygiene. Para Professional for three years (Special Needs and Early Childhood through Eighth Grade students). I have received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of Phoenix. I also received a Master's in Counseling at Webster University June 2, 2018.
