Bonjour! I am thrilled to be the Armour Campus middle school social worker. Every school year, I look forward to getting to know each of the students and their families.
I have previous experience as a middle school English teacher, school social worker, and behavioral therapist. I received my B.A. in English at Colorado College in Colorado Springs and my Master’s in Social Work at UMKC. I enjoy helping students to feel confident, to feel safe, and to be the best version of themselves.
I love spending time with my wife Rachel, our daughters Sami and Sarah, and our senior rescue dog, Chili. I also enjoy gardening, hiking, and playing harmonica.

Hi! My name is Paige Kinsey. I’m so excited to be joining the Académie Lafayette Armour Campus this year as an intern! I am currently working towards getting my master’s in social work at UMKC. I’m looking forward to meeting the students and working with staff to create a happy environment for the students and their families.
Previously, I have had experience helping pregnant mothers, teaching parenting skills, adoption, and home visitation. I graduated with a bachelor’s in social work from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri last May.
I spend most of my free time hanging out with my friends and family. I also enjoy reading, writing, painting, and listening to music!
Hello my name is James and I am looking forward to the fun I will have and the knowledge I will gain while interning at Académie Lafayette. I have always had thoughts of being a school social worker, due to having a great relationship with my school social worker in High School. I appreciate Mr. Nachum’s warm welcome, and I look forward to an eventful Fall and Spring.
