"We stand for what is right" This is at the crux of the controversy over a recent New York Times article by Ezra Klein (here). Klein's seeming contention that the process of political discourse is paramount was countered by Ta-Nehisi Coates who argues, in Vanity Fair (here), that the content of the discourse cannot be ignored. He agrees with Markey that we must stand for what is right.
