Remember that we use the present continuous under these three circumstances:

1. When the activity is in progress at the moment of speaking

2. To talk about temporary situations

3. To talk about the immediate future

For this reason, it is always a good idea to use time expressions when we use the present continuous. In this way we avoid misunderstandings :)
