Have you ever heard of impromptu speech? Let's give it a shot, shall we?
You will work in groups of four. Take turns clicking on the slides below. You will see a topic of which you will talk about 3 minutes, non-stop.
Choose one of the topics you just talked about. Invest 10 minutes to develop your ideas some more. Prepare yourself to give your group a little speech about it.

You recently made a friend on a social media you have. You would like to visit him/her in a few months. Ask him/her several questions about your friend's country, nice places to visit, hotels nearby, transportation, among others.
Pretend you started learning English a short time ago. You are receiving a clall from someone you recently met on a social media you have. He/She speaks English very well. You don't understand what he/she says very well. Ask him/her for clarification as many times as possible.
Each one of you tries to guide the telephone conversation towards a different topic. Do so subtly and trying to keep the conversation in the topic of your choice for a longer period of time.

Group in pairs. Analyze the situation you just listened to in the Google Form above in L.3.1 and on the video on the right. Create a dialogue similar to the one in that activity. Present in front of the rest of the class.
