Did you notice that you were talking about future intentiona in the previous conversation? Were they plans that you had made some time ago?
Be Going to is a great tool to talk about plans and intentions you made some time ago or to say that you are quite sure that something is going to happen.
She's going to love it.
We're going to be on time.
He's going to call you.
They're going to have a test.
In conversation, it is common that native speakers reduce GOING TO to GONNA. However, this does not happen in written English.
