Our CMIO Prescriber Experience Training Team is here to support you on your Connect Care journey.
By completing your basic training, you should be comfortable with the system and able to:
Navigate through the interface
Complete routine tasks like documentation, ordering, and reviewing patient information
Know where to find help or how to escalate issues when needed
You won’t be expected to know everything right away, but you’ll have a good foundation to build on. As you gain experience, your proficiency will grow—especially with workflows specific to your role.
Next Steps:
After you have access to the live system, Production (PRD), we strongly suggest you register for General Personalization session and Dragon Medical One (DMO). By completing these modules, you will optimize your workflow and improve efficiency by tailoring Epic to your specific clinical needs—such as customizing order sets, preference lists, and documentation tools—so you can work faster and more effectively. Taking this extra step will help you feel more confident and prepared for real-world use.
Once you are working in the system for about a month, please watch out for follow-up emails that include helpful support and resources to guide you through your Epic learning journey. These may contain Tip Sheets, Quick Start Guides, Virtual Office Hours (VOH), One-on-one support, Thrive/Optimization training sessions, and other resources designed to make you comfortable and efficient in our electronic medical records. Be sure to check your AHS inbox and keep these resources handy as you progress.
Support emails will be send to all new prescribers at 30, 90. and 180 days after access to Connect Care was granted.
We encourage you to take advantage of the following support options:
