The sPower proposed site would be only a short distance from:

• Wilderness Battlefield
• Chancellorsville Battlefield
• Spotsylvania Courthouse Battlefield.

The proposed power plant must not detract from that aspect and the character of our community.

In April, the county received an architectural survey of the proposed "Spotsylvania Solar Energy Center". In our opinion, this is yet another aspect of the proposal that simply illustrates that Spotsylvania County is not the place for something of this magnitude.
