Your school will develop a matrix of interventions for common deficit areas to make a responsive system that students can quickly access. You will define the environment, curriculum and instruction of your building’s interventions before you identify who requires intervention. We will move away from problem-solving each individual student to come up with an individual intervention plan and concentrate more on looking at groups of students with similar needs in order to quickly and efficiently receive the necessary interventions. They can quickly receive these because we already have them defined and available. See additional resources at the bottom of the newsletter.
