Offering

A silver dangling thread of tear stricken rust

Bent and formed

Overlapped and circling

An arm in flight

Winged in terror, winged in perpetual stillness

Levitating, balancing into nothingness

A hand becoming folded, an arm becoming draped

The fabric of skin turned still and pale

For you.
