The Chalapathi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (Autonomous) stands tall among these, with its recent accolades and the shining beacon that is Prof. Nadendla Rama Rao.

The recognition by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) at the RASASVADA 2023,10/12/2023 event and the prestigious "Best Academic Institute Award in Pharmacy" from the Antiviral Research Society, Tamil Nadu on 01/12/2023 are feathers that adorn the institution's cap, showcasing its multifaceted excellence.
But behind every illustrious institution is a visionary leader, a beacon of inspiration. Prof. Nadendla Rama Rao, with his myriad achievements, exemplifies this leadership. His accolades, be it the State Teachers Award or the innovative patents recognized at Acharya Nagarjuna University, are not just personal milestones but milestones for the entire academic community.
Furthermore, the recognition from the Andhra Pradesh State Pharmacy Council further solidifies Prof. Rao's stature as a luminary in the pharmaceutical realm. The Felicitation of the Top Performing ADR Center in India was held on the eve of National Pharmacovigilance Week 2023. The Chalapathi ADR Monitoring Center, even without a Junior PV Associate, stands as one of the top ten ADR reporting centers among all IPC-PvPI ADR Monitoring Centers in India.

Awareness Programs
The Women's Cell at CLPT took a proactive step in ensuring the safety and well-being of its female students. On 4th September 2023, they organized an insightful event titled "Establishment of Student Safety Committee." Aimed at fostering a secure environment for all female students across various programs, this initiative underscores the institution's commitment to gender inclusivity and student welfare.
From 17th to 23rd September 2023, the Department of Pharmacy Practice orchestrated the monumental National Pharmacovigilance Week -2023. Under the pivotal theme of "Boosting Public Confidence in Pharmacovigilance," this week-long initiative aimed to spotlight the importance of drug safety monitoring. The event resonated deeply with B. Pharm, Pharm D, and M Pharm students, who showcased their commitment alongside seasoned healthcare professionals.
One of the standout events during this week was the "Medication Safety Awareness Rally" organized in collaboration with the Chalapathi ADR MONITORING CENTER. Held on 22nd September 2023 at the Natco Cancer Center, Govt. General Hospital, Guntur, the rally saw an impressive turnout, including students from V and VI Pharm D batches and Nursing Students. The rally was followed by an enlightening guest talk at the Natco seminar hall, further solidifying the collective commitment to pharmacovigilance. On 5th September 2023, the institution witnessed a burst of creativity by organizing poster competitions exclusively for the II B. Pharmacy students across all courses. These artistic expressions were meticulously evaluated by the faculty members, providing students with an opportunity to showcase their talents and insights on pertinent pharmaceutical topics. The winners were honored with prizes presented by Sri. Y.V. Anjaneyulu, President of CLPT, and Principal Dr. Rama Rao Nadendla.

Guest Lectures
The Alumni Association arranged an insightful guest session focusing on career opportunities in Germany for Pharmacy graduates. The session was conducted by Dr. Mallikharjuna Rao Sunkara, an alumnus from the 2006-2010 Batch of B.Pharmacy. Currently serving as the Regulatory Registration Manager at Sandoz, a division of Novartis, in Germany, Dr. Sunkara likely provided valuable information and firsthand experiences for students to consider international career paths in the pharmaceutical sector. The event took place on September 14th, 2023.
The IIPEC (Industry Institute Placement and Entrepreneurship Cell) hosted a Career Guidance Session for the final year B. Pharmacy students. The session was led by Mrs. Neha Thakur from Leo Global Overseas, Guntur and took place on September 14th, 2023.
The Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis at Chalapathi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (Autonomous) is set to host an online guest lecture on "INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS: From Product Selection to Product Launch." Heartfelt congratulations to our professor Rama Rao Nadendla sir, Principal, Chalapathi Institute of pharmaceutical sciences (Autonomous), for receiving Best teacher award by Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education on 05/09/2023 and the "Best Patent Award" during Prathibha Puraskar Pradhanotsav at Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur on 11/09/2023. He received Special appreciation for his contributions to the pharmacy profession twice - from Andhra Pradesh State Pharmacy Council on September 2/09/2023 and during "Pharma Awards - 2K23" held at GMCANA Auditorium, Guntur Medical College, Guntur on 12/10/2023. Additionally, his prowess in academic presentations was showcased when he clinched the First Prize in Poster Presentation at APTICON 2023 on 2nd and 3rd September 2023.
Mr. G. Nagaraju, Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics, was awarded a Ph.D. by the Pacific Academy of Higher Education and Research University for his research on "Analytical Method Development and Validation of Some Antiviral Pharmaceutical Formulations."
