CLPT CARNIVAL -Youth Fest 2023 was organized from 09/01/2023 to 12/01/2023 by Alumni Association of CLPT, IQAC, ISPOR, IPA LAM, IIPEC, IPR & IPER cell, NSS, Sports, Cultural and Women's cells of the institute.

65th Birthday of Sri Y. V Anjaneyulu, President, Chalapathi Educational Society, Guntur was celebrated on 21/01/2023. On this occasion Academic Achievement Awards for 2021-2022 were distributed. Sri B. Subramanya Sarma, Executive Director, AQuity Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Sri E. Durga Prasad, AGM, Sri Chaitanya Institutions, Guntur, Sri Y. Sujith, Secretary, Chalapathi Educational  Society, Guntur were also participated.

74th Republic Day was celebrated 26/01/2023 with great pride. Alumni Association conducted power point presentation competition on the eve of National Science Day (28/02/2023) for all Pharmacy  students.  Ms.  G.  Bhumika  Sai  Sree    & Mr.  N.  Divya K u m a r i -  II B.  Pharmacy,  Ms. M. Varshini   & Mr.  C.  Pavan  Sai – IV Pharm D, Mr. M. Neeraj Kumar- III Pharm D, won the prizes during this event.

19th Annual Day was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm on 31/03/2023. Principal Prof. Rama Rao Nadendla presided over the function. Dr. Montukumar M Patel, President-PCI, inaugurated MSME incubation center at CLPT. Dr. M.V. Ramana, EC member-PCI, Prof. E. Srinivasa Reddy, Dean & Faculty of Engineering, ANU, were special guests of the occasion. Mr. Ch. Ramana Kumar, MD, Itaan Pharma Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad, Dr. S. Uma Sankar, Ahalya Nursing Home, Guntur, Dr. L.  J. Sandhyavali Prof. & Deputy Superintendent, G.G.H, Guntur, Dr. M. Radhakrishna Murthy, Member-PCI, Dr. Prasada Reddy, Member-PCI,Sri. Y. Sujith Kumar Secretary & Sri.Y.V. Anjaneyulu, President of  Chalapathi Educational Society were the distinguished guests of the day.

Awareness program on GPAT coaching by Mr. A. Mohana Rao, APEXGPAT, Pune (6/01/2023). Mr. Y. Tilak Kumar, Branch manager, HDFC Bank, Gorantla, Guntur, enlightened teaching & non - teaching staff of CLPT on banking policies during general awareness program “Banking Policies and services” (24/01/2023). 

Primary Health Screening Services & Awareness Camp was held on 30/01/2023 in  association with Department of Pharmacy Practice in the Open Auditorium to the all the staff of Pharmacy & en- gineering branches. A rally was held on "World Cancer Day on 4/02/2023 for V & VI Pharm. D students, by the Department of Pharmacy Practice, GGH, Guntur. Youth counseling about health, rules, regulations and Infrastructure was organized by women's cell on 20/02/2023 in association with NSS, Sports and Cultural committee (I B. Pharmacy and I Pharm. D students were actively participated). Department of Pharmacology conducted awareness on Applications of statistics in clinical Research by Mr. P. Satish Babu, Asst. Professor of CLPT. Alumni Association conducted awareness session on “Medical Coding” (27/02/2023). Sk. Afzal, senior medical coder of Atena Health, Chennai and Alumnus of CLPT, briefed IV B. Pharmacy students about coding.

Novel Advances in Formulations & Manufacturing Aspects of Semisolid Dosage Forms, Seminar Cum E-Poster Competition was organized for II & IV/IV B. Pharmacy, III Pharm. D, I and II M. Pharmacy students by the Department of Pharmaceutics (17/02/2023). Mr. Bimreddy Bhavani Prasanna Kumar, Director of OSD (FR&D) Dept., Zhejiang Xianju Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., China was resource person. Department of Pharmacy Practice, in association with GMC-AMC (NCC-PvPI) organized IPC-PvPI's one day National Workshop, Pharmacovigilance, Hemovigilance, Materiovigilance & AEFI, Dr. Vivekanandan Kalaiselvan, Senior Principal officer, IPC-PvPI,Ghaziabad, Dr. K. Sankar-Professor & HOD, Department of Phar- macology, GMC, Guntur, Dr. K. Chandrakala, Vice - Principal, Professor & GMC & AMC Co-Ordinator, Department of Pharmacology, GMC, Guntur, Dr. L. Meenak- shi, Assistant professor, Department of Pharmacology, GMC, Guntur were the speakers ofthe event (04/03/2023).

Two-day workshop (27/03/2023 to 28/03/2023) was organized by Alumni Association & Department of Pharmaceutics on Problem Solving using Design Expert & JMP. Dr. Karri V V S Narayana Reddy, Asst. Professor Dept. of Pharmaceutics, JSS college of Pharmacy, Ooty, and Dr. A. Muralidhara, Head, JMP Academic, India, were resource persons. 

One day virtual workshop was organized (03/04/2023) on "Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) & Patents and Design filing" in collaboration with Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Intellectual Property Management (RGNIIPM), Govt. of India, Nagpur (Under National Intellectual Property Awareness Mission). Dr. Bharat N Suryawanshi Asst. Controller of Patents & Designs, RGNIIPM, Nagpur was resource person.

Skill Development Course on "Community Pharmacy and Entrepreneurship" was organized by Department of Pharmacy Practice for II Pharm. D students (04/01/2023 to 7/01/2023). Teacher’s training on "Google Form and Google Meet" was organized by institutional cells (7/01/2023). 

Training for Non- Teaching staff on “Maintenance and working of Diffusion Cell Apparatus", “Handling and Maintenance of Fume hood & Desiccators" and " Demonstration & Handling on HPLC" were held by Md. Mustaq, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmaceutics, Mr. G. Naga Raju, Assistant Professor and Mr. P. Prachet, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis (20/02/2023, 14/03/2023 to 15/03/2023).

Skill Development Program was organized by Rubicon Pvt. Ltd., for III and IV. B. Pharmacy, I & II M. Pharmacy students. Ms. Madhurima, Mr. Rajesh and Mr. Radha Krishna were trainers (16/03/2023 to 18/03/2023). 

Skill Development Course on “Practical Skills in Pharmaceutical Laboratories” was organized by the Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis, Department of Pharmaceutics & Department of Pharmacology for I B. Pharmacy & I Pharm. D students (20/03/2023 to 25/03/2023).

Forty-seven students were shortlisted for Episource (Optum Health & Technologies India Pvt. Ltd.,) Chennai, during campus placement held on 18/04/2023.
