Enrolling Employee Biometrics

This section describes how employees' fingerprints can be registered in the time clock.

DO NOT CREATE NEW EMPLOYEES DIRECTLY IN THE FINGERPRINT TIME CLOCK. CREATE EMPLOYEES UNDER YOUR ACCOUNT ONLINE ONLY, AND ALLOW 5-10 MINUTES FOR EMPLOYEES TO TRANSFER TO THE TIME CLOCKS. ONCE EMPLOYEES ARE TRANSFERRED TO THE CLOCKS FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS TO REGISTER EMPLOYEES' FINGERPRINTS.

How to register Fingerprints

If time clock already has an admin or enroller setup then you must have admin or enroller privileges to be able to register employees for fingerprints.

1. From Time clock Menu (M Key) select User Manage -> Manage

2. Select the employee from the list of users by using scroll keys

3. Press OK to start editing employee details

4. Scroll down to the button 'Enroll FP' using scroll keys

5. Press OK to start the fingerprint enrollment screen

6. Scan selected employee's finger three times

7. Press OK

8. If you need to register additional fingers continue to register additional fingers, please ensure to press OK once done

9. When back on the employee information page scroll down to the OK button , press the OK

10. You should see the FP count number as same as number of fingerprints registered for the employee on the employee list page.

Employees can now start using fingerprints to check in/out.

How to Clock In/Out using Fingerprints

Employees fingerprints must be registered before employees can start using fingerprints to ClockIn/Out.

Step 1: Press Clock In/Out key (F1 and F5 respectively)

Step 2: Scan registered fingerprint.

How To Register Password or ID Cards

Employees password or ID cards are setup online, this data can be pushed to the time clocks from your online account. Employees can use bio-metrics or password or ID cards to check in/out for attendance. The time clock must be equipped with ID card reader for ID card reader to work.

1. Login to your online account, you must have privileges to add/edit employees.

2. Click on Employees, then select 'clock view' by clicking on clock icon on top right corner.

3. Search for the employee you would like to setup password/ID card

4. Enter password (or ID card number), also note employees time clock ID.

5. Click Save icon

6. Send updated information to the time cocks by clicking on 'Send to clocks' button. It may take up to 10 minutes for employees information to update in Time Clocks.

How to Clock In/Out using Password or ID Cards

Employees passwords/ID cards must be registered before employees can start using passwords/ID cards to ClockIn/Out.

Step 1: Press Clock In/Out key (F1 and F5 respectively)

Step 2: Enter your (employee) time clock ID.

Step 3: Press OK

Step 4: Enter your (employee) password

Step 5: Press OK

As needed, after registering employees fingerprints you may want to setup time clock admin to lock time clock menu screen. To update employee time clock privileges as following:
