Meet the Teacher

Welcome to Dr. Tucker's Kindergarten Class

Hello! For those whom I did not have the pleasure of meeting my name is Dr. Chelsie Tucker. My birthday is August 25th. I got married in October of 2018, and we welcomed our daughter IsaBelle in July of 2020. We will be welcoming our newest addition to our family in February 2026. We have 2 dogs (Sophia and Artemis) and 1 cat (Carter).I was born and raised in Moundsville, WV. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Social Studies Education and a Master of Arts in Teaching in K-12.In 2010, I taught Middle School and High School. In 2013, I moved to Texas, where I taught Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten. In 2014, I moved to Charlotte, NC. I have taught Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and First Grade. I recently graduated from Liberty University in May with a Doctorate in Philosophy, specializing in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment.
In my free time, I love planning Kindergarten activities, reading, studying, and going to DISNEY WORLD! Disney World is my absolute favorite. I am sure you all will be able to tell by my huge Disney Dress collection.I am so honored and excited to be your child's Kindergarten teacher this year, and I can't wait to see them grow!~Dr. Tucker

IsaBelle 2020

My husband and I welcomed our sweet little girl in July of 2020. She was everything we hoped and prayed for and then so much more! Children are truly a gift from above!

Sweet as Can Bee

July 2023

My little princess turned three on July 30th. She had a Bee Three-themed birthday party. She loves unicorns, puppies, bubbles, and going to Disney with her mommy!

Doctor of Philosophy

May 2025

I successfully defended my dissertation in March 2025 and graduated in May. I have my doctorate in philosophy, specializing in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment.

Egypt 2018

I love to travel and visit new places. My husband and I visited Egypt for our honeymoon. It was a great experience, and I am so blessed to have seen all the wonders Egypt has to offer.

Disney World 2017

I love anything and everything DISNEY! My husband and I are passholders, and we try to visit DISNEY at least four times a year. Even though he only goes because I love it!

Wedding 2018

On October 18, 2018, I married Andrew Tucker, and became Mrs. Chelsie Tucker. I love DISNEY so much that we had a Beauty and the Beast themed wedding.
